About Us

Steve began his career as a VW apprentice at Keith Garages, Aylesbury in 1994, qualifying in 1997. He remained there for 21 years throughout the company’s change of ownership (Wayside Aylesbury/Jardine motors). Steve qualified as a VW Master Technician at the age of 24, then went on to become a Workshop Team Leader and a Licenced Technician for luxury vehicles (Touareg and Phaeton). He’s also a qualified High Voltage Technician for electric & hybrid vehicles and a qualified VW Specialist in Comfort and Convenience systems, Petrol and Diesel engines, ABS systems, and Occupant Protection.

Michael began his career at Rye Mill Garage (currently Citygate Volkswagen, High Wycombe) as an apprentice, straight from school in July 1987. He qualified in 1991 and continued to work there as a technician and MOT tester until October 2003. In 2002 he trained to become one of the first Volkswagen Master Technicians. Between 2003 and 2016 he worked at Keith Garages, Aylesbury (Wayside Aylesbury and Lancaster VW Aylesbury in the latter years). During his time at the Aylesbury site, Michael became a qualified VW Roof Systems specialist, able to maintain and repair Eos folding hard tops as well as Beetle and Golf convertibles. He is also a qualified specialist VW Technician for Petrol and Diesel engines, Comfort and Convenience systems, Safety systems, Driver Assist systems and Electric & Hybrid vehicles.
